Wasp is a World Wide Patented High Speed Fueling System based in Florida , USA .
Our main goals are to eliminate spillage, clean the atmosphere of greenhouse gases, save our drinkable water supply and our ocean waters.
Wasp specializes in designing liquid delivery systems at the highest speeds possible. We address all countries’ concerns involving the environmental issues associated with the loading/unloading of liquids. Our clients need to take into consideration the benefits to their operations with the Wasp System as the delivery of liquids decreases loading/unloading times which translates to fewer vessels moving liquid around due to the increased productivity.
Summary:
The Wasp fueling system represents a quantum leap forward in technology aimed at improving the environment and transportation efficiencies. The economic benefits of the system to vessel owners and port terminal operators are enormous. The owners of the terminals and the ships will save millions of dollars per year in operating expenses and be able to handle cargo more efficiently. The benefits to the environment are:
*Dramatic reduction in spills; the use of the WASP system in the recreational market alone will prevent millions of gallons of fuel from spilling into waterways every year.
*Reduced engine emissions; the increase in loading speed will reduce the amount of time that recreational boats, and commercial vessels are waiting at in port with their engines idling.
*Reduced harmful particulates; because the Wasp technology creates a vacuum during filling, vapors can be captured and prevented from entering into the atmosphere.
The Wasp fueling system supports worldwide sustainability goals established to improve the environment, reverse the harmful effects of global warming and contribute to the global effort to reduce pollution.
High speed fueling/refueling using the Wasp system doesn’t mask the problems caused by liquid spills and toxic gases. It solves the problems completely.

Wasp Fueling announced it has completed it testing with the remote RF frequency to control the fueling system form the fillers hand held emote control fob. This brings total independent control to the electrical system when the operator is fueling. Works with state of the art Solid state circuit breaker that can be tripped thousands of times without damage to the breaker or the pumping system.
The RF link from the control box to the pump relay (240 volt 10 amp solid-state relay) is working in the 902 to 928 MHz band at a 100 mW power level in the USA. In Europe we use an alternate transceiver with CE certification that works in the 2.402 to 2.478 GHz band, also at a 100 mW power level.
The 'Key fob' transmitter presently installed works on 418 MHz. A CE compliant, 433.92 MHz version for use in the European Union.

Wasp Technologies released the new technology at the IMBA in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. AT the show ABYC the American Boat and Yacht Council informed Wasp that its technology was the only one on the market that will prevent fuel spills. With HB 24 regulation due to take effect July 2012 on fueling vessels, Wasp technology would ensure that no fuel was spilled during refueling.

Wasp fueling has be asked to design the SmartFill No-Spill Fueling System for Fuel farms for airports. Here thousands of gallons on fuel are transferred daily and need to be loaded fast with no spills. The requirement is from the tanker to the tank and from the tank to the tanker. The case study will begin in Floridathis July.
General Description:
WASP Fueling Systems, Inc. is a Florida based corporation owned by Mark Harris. In
August 2005, Mr. Harris was issued a U.S. Patent (# 6,935,264 B2) for a revolutionary new system for loading liquids into tanks. Originally designed to prevent fuel spills during marine fueling operations the same technology can be applied to any liquid transfer system.
The system creates a vacuum seal over the tank’s air vent, and dramatically reduces the incidence of unintended spills. The system can also eliminate vapors from escaping into the atmosphere. The major benefit of the invention is that it allows much faster filling, which will significantly reduce the operating costs of vessel operators and
terminal loading facilities. In December 2008 Mark Harris’s application for a revised patent for use of this system on all
vented tanks was confirmed. App# 11/434833.
Applications for the WASP filling system will initially focus on three distinct market segments within the maritime industry: recreational boating, commercial refueling (tugs,
barges, ferries, and workboats), and bulk fueling and liquid cargo loading for oceangoing vessels. Future plans include development of land based systems for fleet operators (trucks, buses, etc.) and retail fueling stations. The worldwide deployment of this system will eliminate millions of tons of harmful vapor particulates from reaching the atmosphere, and prevent millions of gallons of fuel from spilling into waterways on an annual basis.
